While on death row,  Wyoming State Penitentiary inmates became some of the best baseball players in the Old West.

 

The Warden made a deal with them.  Play for time:  Keep winning games and execution dates will be stayed.  Betting against other teams, he and the Governor made a fortune.  The Inmates’ reward:
